What to expect

Your first appointment.

01

Pre-visit phone chat

Before our first home visit, we have a brief phone call to understand your situation, what you're hoping to work on, and any access details (parking, stairs, who'll be home).

02

Full assessment at home

Initial home visits run 45 minutes. We assess in your actual environment. The bed you transfer in and out of, the steps you climb, the chair you struggle to stand from, or anything else you want to look at specific to you and your goals.

03

Practical, repeatable program

You leave with a written exercise program suited to the equipment you have (or a recommendation for what's worth getting). We bring resistance bands, weights and step-blocks as needed.

Who you'll see

We match you to the clinician whose interests fit your condition.

Jarrod Palmer-Brown

Currimundi · Sandstone Point · Home visits

Jarrod completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Orange, New South Wales, and has since developed a broad background in musculoskeletal private practice and acute orthopaedic rehabilitation. He has worked in both outpatient and hospital settings, gaining experience in the management of post-operative hip and knee replacements, as well as a range of other surgical and orthopaedic conditions.

In addition to his orthopaedic expertise, Jarrod has worked with acute and chronic neurological clients, particularly those living in the community, helping individuals regain function and independence through movement-based rehabilitation.

Jarrod particularly enjoys working with knee and hip conditions from early-stage osteoarthritis management and pre-habilitation before surgery, through to post-operative recovery. He has a keen interest in helping people maintain active, healthy lifestyles and believes strongly in empowering his clients with the knowledge and tools to look after their bodies for the long term. You can see him at either clinic for a regular appointment, or book him for a home visit.

Outside of work, Jarrod enjoys keeping fit through gym-based training, running, and hiking, and his favourite way to unwind is by camping and exploring the great outdoors.

Brianna Bourne

Currimundi · Sandstone Point

Brianna, originally from the Sunshine Coast, discovered her interest in physiotherapy through her lifelong involvement in sport and fitness. Having grown up playing a wide range of sports including touch, netball, rugby and volleyball, she inevitably experienced injury herself and was supported through rehabilitation by a physiotherapist. This experience highlighted the profound impact physiotherapy can have on a person's wellbeing and inspired her to pursue the profession.

Brianna completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University, undertaking clinical placements across Neurorehabilitation, Women's Health, Cardiorespiratory, Musculoskeletal Injuries and Surgical Rehabilitation. These experiences strengthened her commitment to supporting individuals through their recovery and helping them return to the activities that bring them joy. During her studies, she also worked as a sports trainer, gaining valuable insight into complex musculoskeletal conditions and developing a passion for guiding young athletes through their rehabilitation journeys.

With a particular interest in Women's Health Physiotherapy, Brianna has completed additional qualifications in this specialty. She is dedicated to empowering women through all stages of life, providing evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each person's needs.

Outside of work, Brianna enjoys spending time with her dog, getting to the beach whenever she can, and participating in social sports. Her drive for self-improvement and her personal experiences shape her commitment to delivering high-quality care and helping every patient achieve their goals and live their healthiest, happiest life.

FAQs

Common questions.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

+

We are not a registered NDIS provider. We work with plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants. If your plan is NDIA-managed, you'll need to use a registered provider. We're happy to recommend one if helpful.

How much does a home visit cost?

+

A travel charge applies to all home visit bookings, on top of the standard physiotherapy fee. The exact travel cost depends on where you are and your funding stream (HCP, NDIS, DVA, etc), so please call the clinic and we'll quote you transparently before booking.

How far do you travel?

+

We service the wider Sunshine Coast (Caloundra to Maroochydore) and Moreton Bay (Bribie Island to Caboolture). Call the clinic to enquire about home visit travel costs for your area.

Do you accept Home Care Package funding?

+

Yes. We work with HCP recipients across Levels 1-4. Your provider will need to coordinate the booking and payment with us.

What about DVA?

+

Yes. We accept DVA Gold and White Cards (where the condition is on your card). A GP referral letter is required for DVA.

Who comes to my home?

+

Jarrod Palmer-Brown is our lead home-visit physio, with 4+ years of experience in knee and hip osteoarthritis and post-operative rehab. Our other physios also do home visits when needed, so we can match the right clinician to what you're working on. Whoever comes, you'll see them consistently rather than a rotating roster.
